Founded in 2007 by Swiss British Fiduciary Trust Center Ltd, Global Agricultural Resources AG (GAR) is now a full subsidiary of Global Natural Resources Holding AG.

Through leverage of its extensive agricultural and agribusiness know-how and experience, GAR is ideally positioned to become a global leader in the production and supply of second-generation biofuels.

GAR produces biofuels exclusively from non-edible crops – currently from Castor bean and jatropha curcas

Castor bean and Jatropha curcas are ideally suited for cultivation on marginal land, which provides additional environmental and economic advantages.

Producing biofuel from these crops has a dual cleaning effect on the environment. The plants naturally absorb high levels of CO2 from the atmosphere while growing and the clean burning biofuel produced from these crops reduces CO2 emissions from the engines burning the fuel.
