GAR offers clean energy through eco-friendly, socially friendly and economically profitable second-generation biofuel production, from non-edible crops.
Global Agricultural Resources (GAR) was founded in 2007 by Swiss British Fiduciary Trust Center Ltd, and now operating as a full Global Natural Resources Holding AG.
GAR produces biofuels exclusively from non-edible crops - currently, castor bean and Jatropha curcas.
Biofuel is a natural and renewable fuel alternative, produced from vegetable oils. It contains no petroleum, is non-toxic and biodegradable. The term includes biodiesel and ethanol.
GAR is currently involved in large-scale energy crop projects in Argentina and Brazil. In full cooperation with local institutions and organizations, these projects are focused on cutting edge R&D as well as actual energy crops cultivation and oil production.
GAR’s R&D department fills a versatile role in the company, focused on the following areas: Providing information and support, research on existing biofuel sources and looking for new biofuel sources.
